Denver Broncos and Super Bowl 50 MVP Von Miller are still in negotiations with the contract extension.
It doesn’t be so sure that they will make an agreement in a long-term deal before July 15th.
It has been a long time that Miller and Broncos have talked that problem since early June.
The Super Bowl MVP hasn’t signed his one-year franchise tag tender and has said there’s “no chance” he’ll play under the tag in the 2016 season.
Miller would not attend any Broncos’ competition if he could not work out a long-term deal with Broncos in a number of weeks.
If Charles Tillman returns for a 14th NFL season, he only wants to play for the Carolina Panthers.
Tillman, who is currently rehabbing from surgery to repair a torn ACL he suffered in Week 17 last season, played his first season in Carolina after spending his first 12 years with the Chicago Bears.
“I just want to play for Carolina,” he said, according to NOLA.com on Saturday in Slidell, Louisiana, where he was helping former Chicago Bears teammate Matt Forte with his football camp.
Tillman helped the Panthers to a 15-1 regular season record before an ACL tear in Week 17 put him out for the playoffs and Super Bowl.
“That’s the only team I really want to play for,” he said, according to NOLA.com. “It’s Carolina. It’s a great group of men. … A great group of coaches. The front-office guys are great. To me it was no surprise they were, or we were, 17-2.”
Tillman forced two fumbles and had two interceptions this past season, giving him 44 career forced fumbles and 38 interceptions.
